Brand Storytelling Through Podcasting
Americans today enjoy being entertained, either through a movie, a song, or a book all these mediums have one thing in common, they tell a story (Hong et al., 2021). The act of storytelling is nothing new; it is how we remember (McKee, 2003). People tend not to remember lists or structured points, instead, they hold on to how a story made them feel (McKee, 2003). Was the story cheerful? Melancholy? Suspenseful? Thousands of stories have been told to us our entire life and from a young age, we know a good story when we hear one (McKee, 2003). Consumers are the same, they do not want to hear a company’s sales pitch for the umpteenth time instead, they prefer to experience a brand’s story (PR News, 2017).

Focus group Analysis: How to Make Room for Female Gamers in the Video Gaming Space
It is believed by many that video gaming is mainly for males when in fact females now make up half of the gamers in the United States (Lopez-Fernandez et al., 2019). Video gaming and the culture that surrounds it mostly since its inception has been male-dominated (Kirkpatrick, 2017). Though there has been an increase in female players, the landscape that surrounds gaming is seen as masculine and violent, making female gamers feel excluded (Lopez-Fernandez et al., 2019). If video game studios cater specifically to the large population of female gamers with targeted marketing then females will finally get the chance to feel included in the male-dominated gaming space.
